Yeah, in the lecture last Thursday (left this a while. Yikes) we were shown videos of possible future technology and what they could do. One video involves a guy drawing shapes onto a screen and them interacting. I immediately though of this:
It's a playable game called Crayon Physics where you have to draw the shapes to solve puzzles.
As for predictions on other possible technology, I think if game companies played their cards right, they could create holographic experiences that interact with reallife objects (like Eye of Judgement for the PS3, I guess), or use motion sensors to make ceation games, where a person could wear sensor gloves and sculpt things on the screen. I think they might have something like that already in development, but I haven't heard of it for a while ;P
